Will Black’s passion for Photography stems from the interaction of light within the vast open skies of Suffolk. Always with a camera, he is capable of capturing an inspirational image that others do not always see. "He has an eye for a picture."
He aims to capture the dynamism and vibrancy of the subject; and also likes to draw out the emotional property vested in human imaginations. Having spent some time studying digital graphics under the watchful eye of German born Photographer Mike Chen, he is capable of manipulating images to create stunning Photograhic art.
Recently he spent a Month in South Africa with Durban based Photographer Emil Von Maltitz, shooting in the region of 10000 images.
Earlier in the Year he was to be found helping out with a Corsican Photo shoot and also spent time at Canons training center learning new technical skills. His latest tour was to Southern India visiting Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
Several of his images have been published in magazines and books, and has had pictures exhibited in Suffolk and London galleries. He was a finalist in the 2010 Conde-Naste traveller photo awards, runner up in a National Geographic/Sony contest and was recently placed 2nd in the Amanzi travel photo competition. He has just finished his latest Photographic book "How do Geese know when to fly to the Sun?" A truly uplifting book, extremely thought provoking and packed with beautiful images.
